Once you've located the folder where Auto-Tune Evo is installed, open your Windows File Explorer and navigate to that folder. (If it doesn't appear to be listed, you can always click the button at the bottom that says Auto-Scan For VST/VSTi Directories, which might take a while to complete but can be handy to do after installing new plug-ins on your system.) See if you can find the folder for the Antares Auto-Tune Evo VST plug-in. That will pop up an Additional VST Plug-In Folders window that lists all the plug-in folders that Mixcraft knows to look in. On the Plug-Ins screen, click on the topmost button, which says Edit VST/VSTi Folders. Then, in the left pane of the Mixcraft Preferences window, click on Plug-Ins at the bottom of the list. Try the following to see if it helps: Click on the File menu and select Preferences.

The software will apply the Autotune immediately and the result will appear on the timeline. When you need to apply a little (or a lot) of pitch correction, a transparent, less noticeable effect is desirable. Whether you need a little pitch correction for consistency or all-out robotic effects, Auto-Tune can do the job. Once you have tried any of the options and evaluated the one that seems best to you, click on the Apply button, located towards the lower left corner of the window. Auto-Tune is usually used in one of two ways: pitch correction or effect.

Automatically, the track will start playing and you will hear how it looks with the correction applied as a pretest.
